All About And.Co

This week is the week of resources on Fifth Lane.

One of my favorites, while I didn't include on my previous post because it deserves to stand all on its own under a glorious light.

And.Co is a free resource from Fiver which I've recently begun using to handle all my contracts, expenses, invoices and so much more.

If you're a designer, or simply sell a service for a living, contracts are a necessity. With And. Co I'm able to send custom contracts and both myself and the client can sign. As an added benefit, I use the templates because well I haven't quite invested in an attorney yet but still need to protect myself and my services from malicious time wasting clients.

As soon as that contract is signed, it's time for my favorite portion, just kidding. The invoice can officially be sent to the client. What I love most is how much you can actually customize the invoice in terms of payment structuring and are super easy to adjust in a jam if something unexpected gets added.

The best part of all this is that it is free, but some additional bonuses I adore are being able to track my hours and set up some auto payments for those retainer clients thanks to their subscription service so you don't have to set up a new invoice every month.
